Nice simple image today. With October 1st right around the corner and the last batch of summer sausage from last year’s deer going into the oven today, I am posting a photo of a sweet young deer I shot last time I was up in the Upper Peninsula. This young one, another young one and a doe were hanging out in Presque Isle Park in Marquette. I am guessing their particular habitat is far from the dangers of hunting season as I was practically able to get within petting distance of this trio. They seemed curios, yet unafraid. I decided to stop at about 7 feet away. I was curios to know how close I could get, but was more concerned with leaving them undisturbed. Continue Reading
